Jason J. Hogg
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Jason was a founder of MBNA Canada and served as Chief Business Development Officer responsible for establishing the bank’s business development and marketing operations, resulting in receivables of $1 billion. During his five-year tenure with MBNA America, Jason held executive positions in Loss Prevention, Credit, Compliance, and Sales and Marketing. He also co-founded MBNA’s Sports Marketing practice, now a $4 billion receivables business, and Financial Management Services, MBNA’s credit counseling subsidiary. Jason’s prior experience also includes Chief Operating Officer and President positions at two technology organizations, Medsite, Inc. and HorizonLive, Inc. respectively.
Dax Cummings
Chief Operating Officer
Dax spent 12 years at MBNA America, most recently as Division President while serving on the corporate Management Committee. He led the company’s Key US Endorsed Card business, where he was responsible for endorsed and co-branded portfolio strategies, new sales, marketing, and relationship management. Dax was the youngest person at MBNA to be promoted to Senior Executive Vice President and to the Management Committee. Before joining Revolution Money, Dax served as the Managing Director of Strategic Marketing for The Kessler Group, working for Howard Kessler, a founder of affinity-based marketing in the financial services industry.
Darren Thompson
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Revolution Money, Darren was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Avenue Mortgage Corp. and a Senior Portfolio Manager of Avenue Capital Group, a leading New York-based fixed-income hedge fund. Prior to working with Avenue, Darren held several senior risk management positions with Fannie Mae. His last position was as the Head of Credit Finance, the senior-most corporate officer with direct responsibility for credit risk performance of Fannie Mae’s $2.2 trillion guarantee book (the largest risk portfolio of its kind in the world). Prior to Fannie Mae, Darren was a Managing Director in Fixed Income at Goldman Sachs and a Principal at Morgan Stanley. Darren graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a BS in Biochemistry and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Nicholas P. Johns
General Counsel and Secretary
Prior to joining Revolution Money, Nicholas worked for Merchant & Gould, where he was vital to the success of their computer/electronics practice group. His practice included intellectual property litigation and prosecution with an emphasis on medical devices, microelectronics, software, and communication systems. Nicholas was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1999 and to the Florida Bar in 2007. He is also admitted to practice before the Minnesota Federal Bar, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His professional affiliations include the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. Preceding Merchant & Gould, Nicholas worked as a design engineer in research and development for Guidant Corporation. He received a J.D. from New York University in 1999 and graduated magna cum laude from GMI Engineering Management Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering in 1995.
Duncan L. Evans
EVP & General Manager, RevolutionCard Network
Duncan Evans is EVP & General Manager of the RevolutionCard Network for Revolution Money. Prior to joining Revolution Money, Duncan was Vice President of Strategic Development at Experian, where he led the Corporate Development, Strategic Relations, and New Market Development groups. In this role, he oversaw mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and alliances, and the development of new market entry strategies throughout the Americas. Before Experian, Duncan was a Vice President at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking, where he was a principal in their $2 billion global private equity fund. Previously, Duncan provided valuation and financial advisory services at Willamette Management Associates, worked in strategic planning at Strategic Mortgage Services, and began his career in the Trust Department of Riggs National Bank, where he was a Trust Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager. Duncan graduated cum laude from Middlebury College with a BA in psychology and received an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jorgen Bocklage
Senior Vice President, Bank Relations
Prior to joining Revolution Money, Jorgen was Senior Vice President of Credit Risk Management at Marshall BankFirst Inc. During his tenure at Marshall, Jorgen held a variety of credit, sales, and risk management roles. He led a number of initiatives, including the development of a portfolio servicing team responsible for the $1.5 billion commercial loan participation portfolio with over 800 participant banks. Jorgen was formerly an equity analyst at Piper Jaffray Corporation, and earlier in his career was at Cargill. Jorgen is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He graduated from Colby College with a degree in economics and received an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Bo Gorham
Senior Vice President, IT Operations
Bo has over 20 years of leading experience in IT and operations. He most recently served as the Senior Service Manager for Capital One’s Global Financial Services division, responsible for business portfolio management, staffing and demand and capacity management. Prior to this role, he served as Director of Infrastructure Architecture and Internetworking, Capital One Europe, in Nottingham, and was responsible for managing the architecture and operations of the European data, video and voice networks. He was also previously the Infrastructure Director for Capital One France where he was responsible for the build out and implementation of its infrastructure (call center, business office, and data centers, and implemented support staffing and processes for IT operations). Before Capital One, he implemented a world wide point of sale system for the US Navy Exchange. Bo is a US Navy veteran with a tour of service from 1976 – 1980, and he studied Electrical Engineering at Old Dominion University.
